Home Therapy Kit – Complete narrowband UVB vitiligo treatment for home use
The Home Therapy Kit brings together the three most effective tools for vitiligo treatment at home: a clinical-grade 311 nm narrowband UVB lamp, a dermatologically developed topical gel and a daily nutritional supplement — everything you need to start a consistent, evidence-based vitiligo routine.
Each product is designed to complement the others. Used together, they address vitiligo from three directions simultaneously: targeted UVB light, topical melanocyte support and internal nutritional support.
Why the three-way approach works
What's Included

Treatment Routine
Three simple steps, used together consistently, make the difference. Follow this routine on every treatment day for the best results.
Every day
- Take 1 Vitistop Tablet with water, preferably during breakfast.
On UVB days (2–3× per week, min. 48 h apart)
- Apply Vitistop Gel to the affected skin areas and allow to absorb for approximately 30 minutes.
- Use the Kernel KN-4003BL2 UVB lamp on the treated areas — start at 30 seconds (adults) or 15 seconds (children) and increase gradually as your skin allows.
You can also apply Vitistop Gel on rest days as part of your daily skincare — the UVB lamp is the only step limited to 2–3× per week.
Increasing UVB exposure time
Increase the exposure time only when any redness from the previous session has completely faded. The target is a mild, temporary pinkness. If there is no redness, or only mild redness that clears within 24 hours, increase by 20 seconds per session. If the skin is still slightly pink after 24 hours, keep the same time. If strong redness or discomfort occurs, pause treatment and reduce the time by 20% once the skin has cleared.
Important safety information
- Always wear the supplied UV-protective goggles during UVB treatment

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the Home Therapy Kit and combining UVB phototherapy with Vitistop products.
Why use all three products together?
Each product targets vitiligo at a different level. The UVB lamp activates dormant melanocytes through targeted 311 nm light. Vitistop Gel supports melanocyte activity topically and may enhance the effectiveness of UVB when applied beforehand. Vitistop Tablets provide the internal nutritional foundation — antioxidants, amino acids and minerals — that the whole process depends on. Together they create a more complete approach than any single product alone.
Do I need to use Vitistop Gel before every UVB session?
Yes — for best results, apply Vitistop Gel approximately 30 minutes before each UVB session. This gives the active ingredients time to absorb and work synergistically with the 311 nm light. You can also apply the gel on non-treatment days as part of your daily skincare routine.
How often should I use the UVB lamp?
Use the Kernel KN-4003BL2 lamp 2–3 times per week with at least 48 hours between sessions. This matches the protocol used in dermatology clinics. More frequent use does not improve results and increases the risk of overexposure.
Is this kit suitable for all body areas?
Yes. The Kernel KN-4003BL2 includes a comb attachment for scalp and hairline treatment. The lamp can be used on the face, body, hands and feet. Face and neck tend to respond best; hands and feet typically take longer. Always wear UV-protective goggles during treatment near the face.
How long before I see results?
Repigmentation is gradual and varies between individuals. Most people begin to see the first small pigment dots within 2–4 weeks. More noticeable repigmentation typically develops over 3–6 months of consistent treatment. Stopping treatment early is the most common reason for disappointing results — consistency is key.
Can children use the Home Therapy Kit?
Vitistop Gel is suitable for children aged 3 and over. Vitistop Tablets are suitable for children aged 12 and over. The UVB lamp can be used on children under parental supervision, starting with shorter initial exposure times (15 seconds) and following the manufacturer's guidance. We recommend consulting a pediatric dermatologist before starting UVB therapy in younger children.
How long does each product last?
The Vitistop Tablets (30 tablets) provide a 1-month supply. The Vitistop Gel 50 ml typically lasts 1–2 months depending on the size of the treatment area. The Kernel KN-4003BL2 lamp bulb has a rated lifespan of approximately 1000 hours — well beyond a typical treatment course. Replacement Philips PL-S 9W/01/2P bulbs are widely available.
