Should I also wear protective glasses during phototherapy?

It is not a necessary, protective glasses are recommended to be used mainly during whole-body UVB phototherapy. When using a hand-held UVB lamp, direct eye contact with the light should be avoided. This means not pointing the switched-on lamp directly at your eyes.
